Hello dears! Eeeeek it's almost Christmas y'all! I'm so excited. 

This past weekend, a dear family friend of my family I's was able to join us on one of our (sometimes monthly) trips to the English Tea Room in Covington. It's absolutely the cutest place ever. 
If you live in or near Covington I highly recommend stopping in. It's precious. 
It's definitely my go-to spot to take a break from all the holiday madness. 

( P.S Get the Strawberry Shortcake Tea. It's perfection. )

Wear It Three Ways :: Little Striped Dress { Part 3 }

          Hello dears! This post is well overdue and like I mentioned in my last post, this whole year has completely flown by for me. How is it already December?! I've been super busy these past couple of weeks getting ready for the Holidays (still a little more shopping to do) and enjoying this lovely cold weather. While it lasts anyway....

{ Look 3 : Fall / Winter } 
For the third and final way I styled this little striped dress,
 I wanted to create a simple look that you can easily transition from the chilly Fall months to the even colder Winter ones. I used a solid colored scarf to play off of the dress's stripes, my black leather boots and white jacket. (I would also wear my black military style pea-coat or nude ankle boots for a more casual outfit.)
And finally, this look wouldn't be complete without jewelry! I paired some gorgeous statement rings and earrings via Porter Lyons. I still can't get over that gorgeous backbone ring. Gimme, gimme!

            Hello dears! Am I the only one who can't believe that it's already December?! I just feel like this 

     whole year has flown by. These last couple months have been soo crazy. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner, 

     went Black Friday shopping with friends until 4am, went to Marshall's for one thing and ended up finding 

     everything on my Christmas shopping list, and I'm planning something super exciting for Spring 2014!

{ Look 2 : Glam } 

For this look, I wanted to vamp up this little striped dress. Strappy heels, golden accents, add a snakeskin clutch and you've got a glam night out look! The golden alligator backbone ring by Porter Lyons is my absolute favorite. It's just perfect. You can make a statement without having the jewelry stealing the show.

To take it a step further you could even add a bright red lip or a leather jacket!
