                                     Merry Christmas!

          Here are some snapshots taken at my house. I enjoyed spending time with my family and friends and received some wonderful gifts! I ended the day indulging in some of the delicious food my Dad made while watching Downton Abbey. 

I'm so thankful for my friends who visited us this evening, but most importantly, I'm thankful for today. It's not just a day for gifts, ugly sweater parties, or Santa Claus. It's about celebrating the day that Jesus came into the world. I thank Him everyday for blessing me with such a loving family and for the people He has put in my life. 

  Hope your Christmas was merry, bright, stylish, and full of love!

    Here are some snapshots from the official launch party for the Ingenue & Camp  blog!


 The proceeds from the event benefited Dress for Success, an organization dedicated to assisting
 women seeking  new opportunities in the workforce. I had such a great time visiting the lovely ladies
 of Ingenue & Camp and supporting such a great cause. The event was full of super stylish people,
yummy food, and super festive decor! Such a fun night. After the event I got to catch up with my
friends Cassidy and Alissa. They brought that delicious looking cheesecake from Whole Foods to Sucre.

Another one of my favorite colors for fall is-- plum. I love pairing it with other simple neutrals such as
grey, silver, black, and beige ( seen here ) I found these super cute skinnies at Target a couple weeks
back. They're so comfortable. I just love them. I also added another beige peice to the mix with my
new carry-all from The Limited.  I purchased this beautiful Ann Taylor rhinestone necklace from a pop-up-sale hosted by the lovely Martine over at Ingenue & Camp. { Thanks again girl! }
She, along with the other ladies at Ingenue & Camp, are hosting an event this Friday at the Martine
Chaisson Gallery in New Orleans. The proceeds from the tickets + silent auction benefit
Dress for Success. I will be attending and if you're free and live in the area then you should too!

          One of my favorite colors this season is-- oxblood! This angled shirt from Ann Taylor has
  been one of my favorite things to wear lately. { Last seen here and here } I really love the neckline
  of this top,  it's the perfect canvas for big statement necklaces! I also love pairing it with my
  high-low skirt, pencil skirt and jeans ( seen here) I kept it simple with the jewelry and studded bag.
  My Black Friday shopping excursion was a blast. Although I wasn't all that excited about waking up
  at 4 am,  I managed to find some pretty amazing deals.  My lovely beige hobo bag was one of them!
  I found it at one of my favorite stores, The Limited.
