Birthday + Preppy Stripes

     Happy Friday! I've been meaning to post these pictures for a  
while now, but thanks to work and school it's taken longer than I
wanted. These pictures were taken about a week ago on my birthday
( Feb. 5 ) 

  A wonderful friend of mine ( you know who you are ;) ) came over and made me those delicious blueberry pancakes and surprised me with the strawberry pie! It was absolutely wonderful and definitely one the best desserts I've ever had. 
  
  Due to the rainy weather we've been having the rest of my birthday was spent relaxing at home with my family and watching 
' How I Met Your Mother '.

    Happy belated birthday, miss! It looks like you had a really good one - that pie looks incredible! I'm loving the look of your striped sweater and statement necklace, the combination is lovely and could work just as well with jeans and flats as it does with your skirt and heels :)
