         A few weeks back I was invited to attend a party 
  celebrating Free People NOLA's first birthday!

     The event was hosted by the lovely style-blogger Jasmine of
  Sequin Crush. { Be sure to check out her super sweet blog! } 

     Everyone at the event had the opportunity to participate in 
  a 'Outfit Styling Contest' where you put together an outfit 
  using any of the items in the store, have your picture 
  taken by Jasmine and have the chance to win a gift card to the 
  store! { Click here to find out who won! } 

      I had so much fun chatting with the girls over at Free 
  People and spending time with my friend Cassidy and 
  photographer Carlyn while walking around sipping some 'Sequin 
  Crush Punch' and lusting after all the beautiful items in the 
  store that we loved, but couldn't afford. { Yes, $80 jeans and 
  $200 jacket I'm talking about you! } 

     However, during the event I purchased these beautiful pink
  stud earrings! { Seen above } 

        

NOLAFW Day 1: Retail Shopping Day

     ::  After visiting Eve's Apple we headed over to  the 'Tidbits Shopping Event at Free People'
      where they handed out goody bags to the first 50 guests! They also had these delicious
       macaroons, courtesy of Sucre. Yum! ::

           What a fun day!  Such a great way to kick off NOLAFW!
     It was so great to meet Brighton and shop at Eve's Apple on Magazine St.  If you live in 
     New Orleans I highly recommend you check it out, or you can check out their amazing 
     selection of designer clothing online, here. 

           I also recommend checking out your nearest Free People Clothing Store, if you haven't already. I just LOVED the shop's layout and not to mention their super cute hippie-chic clothes!  The employees were not only friendly (and stylish!) but they give great fashion advice!
Loved talking with you ladies! The event was so much fun and I know I'll definitely be back!  

          And last, but certainly not least, I rounded off my shopping day at Trendz Accessory Boutique  ( They supplied the jewlery for the Children's Event in my previous post) 
   As you can see, they have an amazingly stocked store  full of chic and trendy items, and
 they're super affordable! I'll be heading back to purchase that minty bauble necklace for sure!
