As I've mentioned before in previous posts, I've been focusing on editing my wardrobe and investing in good-quality staple pieces.

Everyone should own at least one black blazer. Blazers can be paired with just about anything and are - in my opinion, one of the most versatile pieces you can own. They also add just the right amount of sophistication to an outfit without coming across as overly formal. I've worn mine to countless business meetings, formal events, and brunches.

I had been on the hunt for the 'perfect blazer' for quite sometime before discovering this gem at my local Marshall's. (I was lucky enough to find it for less than $30!) It was perfect. I was so impressed by the quality and fit the discounted price was just icing on the cake. You can even cuff the sleeves, if you're feeling a bit preppy that day.

There are so many different styles and stores to choose from when looking for a blazer and it can be kind of intimidating (at least it is for me) I found these articles [ here and here ] to be very helpful and informative.
